Verdict: Disappointed, BIG TIME!
The film is just so...messy! It had potential but the director/screenplay writer were not capable of making it properly. Argh! All the individual stories seemed interesting...but neither were given enough depth... it was like you scratch on the surface of one and run to the other... and in the end nothing was resolved...it just felt like 'ok, and now what?'... I wouldn't say it's a bad film because it isn't... it had a lot of potential... But I'm really, really disappointed with it! The most terrible thing about it is that it moved at an extremely, painfully, slow pace!
All the actors were decent...
Shabana Azmi leaves the most impact... She's a true natural. Handles her role with ease. Great facial expressions and dialogue delivery, this woman rocks! Boman is really good and natural as usual. Shabana and Boman's story had the most depth...it interested me the most too...and they both performed great. I wish the film was just about them two!!
Minisha and Abhay had no scope to perform but they were cute. I liked their childhood flashback.
Amisha Patel was ADORABLE!!
Kay Kay and Raima were good...though they began to irritate me after some point... the sari scene on the beach was hilarious haha
Diya Mirza... *sigh* I thought her story would be really good from the promos... it seemed like it'd be so interesting (how she'd be crying and shying away all the time haha) but it ended up being SOMETHING ELSE which didn't really interest me at all!
I don't know who else to talk about... there were so many people but none were given enough scope to actually stand their own place and be remembered! Messy film! Absolute disappointment!!
